What is NoteCase? An Outliner (see also Wikipedia article) is an application for note taking and information management, basically like a notepad, but it manages information inside a tree structure, i.e. as an outline. This is similar to Mindmapping (English definition, German definition), which is also basically a tree structure of information, but the way of displaying the information on screen or paper is different. NoteCase not only manages textual information, but also supports images, web links, and any kind of files to be attached to outline nodes. Basically, it looks similar to a file manager, such as the Windows Explorer. But on the left there aren't folders, but the titles of the notes, and on the right there aren't folder contents, but note contents, i.e. mainly textual information. NoteCase can be used for many different purposes, e.g.:
NoteCase also supports a lot of features for sharing information with others, such as a powerful HTML export feature. Multi-platform means, that NoteCase can be used on a variety of different operating systems of different hardware platforms. So you have one application and one file format interchangeable between all your computers, no matter if driven by Windows, Mac OS X, Linux or FreeBSD. For Windows, NoteCase Pro is even available in a portable version, which does not need to be installed. That way, you can carry your NoteCase around on your USB flash drive, along with the NoteCase files, and work with them on every Windows computer instantly without installing NoteCase, e.g. in an internet café, when visiting a collegue etc. Screenshots of NoteCase (Pro) on different platformsDownload NoteCase Pro, buy a NoteCase Pro licenseYou can directly buy a NoteCase Pro license using hermocom's Kagi online store:![]() Licenses are available for 25.00 Euro for a one-platform one-user license.
